John Newton Tubman Sr.

December 29th 1934 — June 16th 2023

The Tubman and Newton families regret to announce the homecoming of their beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and cousin: Mr. John N. Tubman Sr. Passed away peacefully on Friday June 16th, 2023 early sunrise in the comfort of him home in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. He worked for the National Bureau of Investigations (NBI) and the Criminal Bureau Investigations (CBI) for a total of 20 years. Being a stellar performer, John Newton Tubman was sent to train and serve as an agent in the United States Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). Afterwards, he returned to Liberia concluding his career at the National Port Authority of Liberia.

Bro-John J.N.T.J Newt as he was affectionately called by ones that adored him, is survived by his beloved children Mrs. Theonie E Johnson, Emmanuel J Hill, Mr. Stanford M Newton, Mrs. Johnette P Fahnbulleh, Mrs. Julia T. Byrd, Ms. Dimanche Tubman and Ms. Mao Tubman.

He also leaved to mourn his loss, his beloved (21) grandkids, (36) great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends residing both in the United States and Liberia.

The Late:
Mrs. Luvenia E. Tubman (his wife of 56years), Mrs. McVilla T. Wiah, John Tubman Jr., and Jacqueline Tubman, all deceased before him.
